Our Target Audience

Ages - 13-18

Our target audience is between 13-18 this is because the actors in the music video are also between these ages as well as the directors and producers of the music video. It’s important to have a target audience around the same ages as the makers so we can have a more in depth decision in the filming process as it lets us see it more from their point of view. In our first questionnaire we asked people to answer questions regarding their age as well as their favourite genre, this way we could see what the most popular genre would be to suit people of this target audience.

The results of the questionnaire showed that the most popular age group that had answered questions was between the ages 18-18 and the most popular genre was Pop, out of the 11 asked, four of those preferred pop, two preferred Pop Punk, one preferred Grime, one 70’s,  80’s and 90’s, one Rap and one Musical. It’s obvious that many people within this age group also liked different decades of music, so it could be an idea to include different eras within our music video as it came to a close second. 

The stereotypes for these age groups go upon what is most popular and trending at that particular time, in this modern age history has a huge impact on this generation, and so we wanted to include that with the Bonnie and Clyde theme, they also however have a huge connection with technology and fashion, so in most music videos they include the most updated fashion trends such as tight and see through clothing.
